The twin objectives of this activity are to

•  Indicate whether security permission will be required, for users to define quick codes in business processes

•  Make the user privileges defined in the “Set User Permission for Quick Codes” activity applicable to these users.

If you indicate that security permission will be required, you are to enter the “Set User Permission for Quick Codes” activity and define user privileges. Defining user privileges refers to selecting each user and specifying the business processes whose quick codes he will be allowed to define. Although the user privileges are defined, the user is still not permitted to exercise his privilege until you revisit the “Set User Permission for Quick Codes” activity and explicitly make the user privilege applicable.
