Select the “Set Quick Code Security Parameters” option from the left pane.
The “Set Quick Code Security Parameters” page appears.
Specify the following details:
Use Quick Codes Security |
Check this box, to indicate that security permission must be set before users can define quick codes. Leave this box unchecked, to indicate the contrary |
Enable Quick Codes Security Privileges to All Use |
Select this check box, to indicate that the user privileges defined in the “Set User Permission for Quick Codes” activity must be made applicable to these users. You can check this box only if the “Use Quick Codes Security” box has been checked already. |
Comments |
The comments you want to enter pertaining to the security parameters specified. |
Note: After you indicate that security permission will be
required, by checking the “Use Quick Codes Security” box, you are to enter
the “Set User Permission for Quick Codes” activity and define user privileges.
This refers to selecting each user and specifying the business processes
whose quick codes he will be allowed to define
However, the user cannot exercise the privilege of defining the quick codes,
unless you return to the “Set Quick Code Security Parameters” page and
check the “Enable Quick Codes Security Privileges to All Users” box
Select the book icon beside the comments field.
The system displays a dialog box.
Enter your comments in the dialog box.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to close the dialog box without saving the changes.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
Use this page to set security parameters for quick codes.
