This activity allows you to map users of the system with the employees of an organization.
In all self-service transactions such a, applying for leave or in a span-of-control based activities such as appraising subordinate’s performance, the user of the system must be recognized as an employee of the organization. Thus, the user employee mapping activity facilitates in recognizing the user of the system as an employee of the organization.
A user can be mapped to only one employee at a particular period of time. You can also access the help feature to fetch the list of user names and employee details, respectively. The users of the system are defined in the deployment workbench. The employee name and corresponding details are defined in the ‘Employee Personal Information’ component.
Through this activity, you can modify the user-employee mapping. You are also allowed to view the login role and login organization unit associated with a user. The mapping of user to login role and organization unit is done in the deployment workbench.
