Disciplinary Action Administration – An overview

The Disciplinary Action component tracks the disciplinary action taken by the supervisor, in response to misconduct by the employees.

It starts with the administrator selecting the employee against whom disciplinary action is to be initiated, and identifying the disciplinary action by specifying the basic details about it. The administrator also records the disciplinary action to be taken against the employee. The scheduled date within which each responsible employee must take action is tracked. A disciplinary action number is generated by the system.

Subsequently, the administrator tracks the actions carried out by each responsible employee. This information is recorded against the disciplinary action number. He or she also tracks the expected costs or the actual costs incurred for carrying out the action. Additionally, the administrator can view the details pertaining to the disciplinary action, before or after it is closed.

Recording the disciplinary action: The administrator can initiate disciplinary action against an erring employee, through this activity. The administrator can record the action plans and the remarks pertaining to the disciplinary action, on behalf of every responsible employee. The disciplinary action number is generated by the system, through this activity.

Recording the disciplinary action activity details: This activity enables the administrator to record the activities carried out by each employee for a specific disciplinary action. You can record the following details about the disciplinary action:

4      The employee code of each employee who is responsible for carrying out the disciplinary action

4      The Activity type of the disciplinary action in which the responsible person would like to record his actions.

Recording disciplinary action cost details: The administrator can record the expected cost/cost incurred for each cost type, and the currency details. The system displays the total expected cost / cost incurred in carrying out the disciplinary action.
