Updating part warranty agreement details
Using this tab, you can update the part warranty agreement details.
Click the “Part Warranty Agreement Details” tab in the “Edit Warranty Terms and Coverage” page to update the part warranty agreement details.
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Part Warranty Agreement # |
The number identifying the part warranty agreement. (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the agreement is in “Active” status. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following fields:
Start Date |
The start date of the part warranty agreement, as defined in the Part Warranty Agreement.. |
End Date |
The end date of the part warranty agreement, as defined in the Part Warranty Agreement.. |
Supplier # |
The code identifying the supplier of the part as defined in the Part Warranty Agreement... |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier. |
Enter the following fields:
Backstop |
Use the drop-down list box and select “Yes” to specify that the claim can be made against the Aircraft Supplier if the part supplier denies the claim, or select “No” if the claim can be made only from the part supplier.. By default, the system displays “No”. |
Remarks |
Any remark pertaining to the part warranty agreement. (Alphanumeric, 2000) |
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the agreement number selected in the multiline.
To proceed carry out the following:
Click the “Part Coverage Details” tab in the “Edit Warranty Terms and Coverage” page to update the part coverage details.
Click the “Aircraft Coverage Details” tab to update the aircraft coverage details.
