Selecting a TCD code for viewing

This page allows you to select a TCD code to view its details.

If you know the exact TCD code for which the details must be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can specify the search criteria based on which the TCD codes must be retrieved by the system.

Select the “View TCD Codes” link under the “Taxes Charges and Discounts” business component.

The “Select TCD Codes” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appear in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Enter the following in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact TCD code to be viewed:

TCD #

The TCD code for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 25).

Select the “View TCD Codes” link provided alongside to view the TCD code details.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a TCD code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Selecting TCDs to view its details

TCD #	The code identifying the TCD for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the codes that are similar to the values entered here.
TCD Description	The description of the TCD to be retrieved. Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the TCD codes whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.
TCD Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the TCD, which could be “Tax”, “Charge” or “Discount”. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Basis	Use the drop-down list box to select the basis of the TCD, which could be “Percentage”, “Flat” or “Unit Rate”. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Effective From	The date starting from which the TCD is effective. The date entered here must be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.
	When this date is entered and "Effective To" date is left blank, the system retrieves all TCD codes that are effective from this date.
Effective To	The date until which the TCD is effective. The date entered here must be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field and must be later than the “Effective From” date.
	When this date is entered and the "Effective From" date is left blank, the system retrieves all TCD codes that are effective until this date.
TCD Category	Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the TCD belongs. The system lists all the categories that are created for TCD in the “Logistics Common Master” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the TCD code, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

TCD #	The code identifying the TCD.
TCD Description	The description of the TCD code.
TCD Type	The type of the TCD, which could be “Tax”, “Charge” or “Discount”.
TCD Basis	The basis of TCD computation, which could be “Percentage”, “Flat” or “Unit Rate”.
Status	The status of the TCD code, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.
Mapping (Y/N)	If the TCD code is mapped to some other TCD, then this column will display "Y", else it will display “N” against that TCD code in the multiline.

To proceed carry out the following

Select the “View TCD Codes” link to view the details of the selected TCD codes.
Select the “View TCD Mapping” link to view the TCD codes that are mapped to the selected TCD code.
