Viewing TCD code

This page allows you to view the details of the selected TCD code.

A TCD can be of type “Tax”, “Charge” or “Discount”, and can be computed on the basis of “Percentage“, “Flat” or “Unit Rate”.

Select the “View TCD Codes” link in the “Select TCD Codes” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked TCD number in the multiline of the same page.

The “View TCD Codes” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following field in the “TCD Details” group box:
TCD #	The code identifying the TCD for which the details are displayed.
Status	The status of the TCD code, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.
TCD Type	The type of the TCD, which could be “Tax”, “Charge” or “Discount”.
TCD Description	The textual description of the TCD.
TCD Category	The category to which the TCD belongs.
Basis	The basis of TCD computation, which could be “Percentage”, “Flat” or “Unit Rate”.
Effective From	The date starting from which the TCD is effective.
Effective To	The date until which the TCD remains effective.

The system displays the following in the “Applicable On” group box:

Basic Value	This box appears checked if the TCD amount is computed on the basic value.
Total Value	This box appears checked if the TCD amount is computed on the total value.

The system displays the following in the “TCD Variant Details” multiline:

TCD Variant #	The variant of the TCD.
TCD Variant Description	The description of the TCD variant.
Variant Value	The value of the variant.
Effective From	The date from which the TCD variant is effective.
Effective To	The date until which the TCD code is effective.
Account Rule	The account rule, which could be ”Add To Stock” or ”Expense”.
Variant Status	The status of the variant, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By	The name of the user that defined the TCD code.
Created Date	The date on which the TCD code was created.
Last Modified By	The name of the user who last modified the TCD code.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the TCD code was last modified.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View TCD Mapping” link at the bottom of the page to view the codes that are mapped to this TCD.
Select the “View Tax Attributes” link at the bottom of the page to view tax attributes.
