Using Online Help

The “Shop Quick Actions Hub” page appears.

Note: The work order you want to work with must be in one of the following statuses only- Planned, In-Progress or Completed as Shop Quick Actions Hub is built only for SWO in executable status for quick actions.

High Level Data view of SWO #

The supervisors can view critical data including completion % of a SWO, progress health and the closure readiness for the SWO #. T in this screen. This will aid in the evaluation the execution of the SWO #

Work Completion

The progress bar depicts the work completion % for the SWO # based on the process parameter “Basis of Work Completion % depiction in Shop Quick Actions Hub?” defined under the entity type Shop Work Order Type and the entity All User Defined Work Order Types in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master.

  • If “Basis of Work Completion % depiction in Shop Quick Actions Hub?” is set as 0 for “Status only”, the Work Completion % is derived based on the formula below:

  • If “Basis of Work Completion % depiction in Shop Quick Actions Hub?” is set as 1 for “Status & Est. Man Hrs.”, the Work Completion % is derived based on the formula illustrated below:

Progress Health

The icon appears in Green, if the following conditions are true for the SWO #:

  • SWO # is not ‘On-Hold’

  • Estimation Status is either 'Confirmed Estimates' or 'Released Estimates' or not available/required

  • Quotation Status is 'Approved' or not available/required

  • Customer order associated with SWO # is not 'On-Hold' or not available

However, if the above conditions are not true for the SWO #, the icon appears in Orange.

Click  to open the Progress Health popup.

Closure Readiness

The icon appears in Green, if the following conditions are true for the SWO #:

  • All the tasks are in the Completed/Closed/Cancelled/Pre-Closed status

  • All the discrepancies are in the Under Resolution status

  • There are no pending returns

  • No pending sign-off against any task/discrepancy

  • CoM has been issued, if Required

  • No running clocks against any tasks or discrepancies

However, if the above conditions are not true for the SWO #, the icon appears in Orange.

The Shop Quick Actions Hub page displays details of the chosen shop work order. Note that the work order details may differ based on the job type as illustrated in the table below:

  1. The process parameter “Document Info cards display order in the Shop Quick Actions Hub?” under the entity type Shop Work Order Type and the entity All User Defined Work Order Types in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master enables the showing/hiding and the ordering of cards on page launch. The following table illustrates how the process parameter value determines the display order of the cards on launch of the page.

More Info tab

The “More Info” tab displays the following cards that provide key details of the shop work order in context. The display order of the cards can be organized as preferred by means of the earlier -mentioned process parameter.

Part Disposition

  • Initial Repair Disposition of the Main Core part associated with the SWO #

  • Final Repair Disposition of Main Core Part associated with the SWO #

  • Disposition Remarks related to the disposition remarks on the Main Core part

  • Click the “Edit Disposition Details” link to open the “Part Disposition Details” popup to update disposition details of the Main Core part.

Movement Details

§  Current location/next move of the Main Core part associated with the SWO #

§  Final movement of the Main Core part associated with the SWO #

§  Remarks on movement of the Main Core part.

  • Click the “Edit Movement Details” link to open the “Movement Details” popup to update movement details upon removal of the Main Core part.

The Counts tab displays the following cards:

  • Click the icon to add new tasks to the respective Work Order. It launches “Record Shop Execution Details” page with Initial Workscoping tab defaulted.

Breakup of of tasks in the work order under two heads – Open and Total

§  Open: Count of all tasks in the Planned and In-Progress status.

  • Click on the “Open count” to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Work Actual” tab appears with all the tasks in the 'Planned' and 'In-progress' status from the work order in the Task Details multiline.

§  Total: Count of all tasks in the work order regardless of the status

  • Click on "Total count" to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Initial Workscoping” tab appears with all the tasks from the work order defaulted in the multiline.

Discrepancies

  • Click the  icon to add new discrepancies. It launches “Record Shop Execution Details” page with Report Findings tab defaulted.

Breakup of discrepancies in the work order under two heads – Open and Total

§  Open: Count of all discrepancies in the Under Resolution status

  • Click on the “Open count” to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Report Findings” tab appears defaulted with the Discrepancy context. Expand the Discrepancy tree to display the “Under Resolution” node.

§  Total: Count of all tasks in the work order regardless of the status

  • Click on Open count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Report Findings” tab appears defaulted with the Discrepancy context. Expand the Discrepancy tree to display all the nodes underneath.

Observation

Count of all observations against the work order

§  Open: Count of all observations against the work order

  • Click on Open count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Report Findings” tab appears by default in the Observation context. Expand the Observation tree to display all the nodes underneath.

Material

Breakup of materal requests avaiable against the work order under three heads – Request, Issue and Total

§  Request: Count of material requests in the Authorized status

  • Click on Request count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Material Request” tab appears showing all the MRs in 'Authorized' status in the respective Work Order

§  Issue: Count of material requests in the Partially Issued  and Confirmed status

  • Click on Issue count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

§ The “Material Request” tab appears showing all the MRs in ‘Closed/Partially Issued' status in the work order

§  Total: Count of all material requests in all statuses from the work order

  • Click on Total count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

§ The “Material Request” tab appears showing all the MRs in all status in the respective Work Order.

  • Click the  icon to raise new Material Request. It launches “Record Shop Execution Details” page defaulted with Material Request tab.

Disassembly & Assembly

  • Click the  icon to launch the “Disassemble & Assemble” tab with the “Disassembly” button enabled in the “Record Shop Execution Details” page to record new component replacement. Further, the “Disassembly” radio button gets selected by default.

Breakup of component replacements against the work order under three heads - Off, On and Off/On

§  Off: Count of component removals

  • Click on "Off" count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Disassemble & Assemble” tab appears with all the CR transactions with only removals in 'Removed' status from the work order.

§  On: Count of component attachments

  • Click on "On" count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Disassemble & Assemble” tab appears with all the CR transactions with only attachments in 'Replaced' status from the work order.

§  Of/On: Count of all component replacements

  • Click on "Off / On" count to open the “Record Shop Execution Details” page.

The “Disassemble & Assemble” tab appears with all the CR transactions with both removals and attachments in 'Replaced' status from the work order.

Pending Return

Breakup of pending returns against the work order

§  Main Core: Count of main core and associated core pending for return against the Work Order

  • Click Main Core count to open Record Part Consumption & Return page.

The “Return Main Core” tab appears with all the details of the main core and associated cores, if pending for return against the work order.

§  Rem. Core: Count of removed core pending for return

  • Click Main Core count to open Record Part Consumption & Return page.

The “Return Removed Cores” tab appears with all the details of the removed core and associated cores pending for return against the work order.

§  Uncons. Part: Count of unconsumed parts pending for return

  • Click Main Core count to open Record Part Consumption & Return page.

The ‘Return Unconsumed Parts’ tab appears with all the details of the unconsumed core and associated cores pending for return against the work order.

Returned

Details of material returns against shop work order

  • Click the Main Core count to open the “Return Main Core” tab in the “Record Part Consumption & Return” activity. The main core record will be displayed in the multiline of the tab.

  • Click the Rem. Core count to open the “Return Removed Cores” tab in the “Record Part Consumption & Return” activity. The removed core records will be displayed in the multiline of the tab.

  • Click the Uncons. Parts count to open the “Return Unconsumed Parts” tab in the “Record Part Consumption & Return” activity. The unconsumed parts will be displayed in the multiline of the tab.

Note: The returned parts against SWO # will be displayed in the above-said tabs of the “Record Part Consumption & Return” page. On launch of the page, Display Option will be set as “All Returned Parts” by default.

Search tab

Process Parameter dependency: The “Show Completed Task” check box remains selected by default, on launch of the tab, if the process parameter “’Show Completed Task' checkbox on loading of Shop Quick Actions Hub?” under the entity type Show Work Order Type and the entity “All user defined Work Order Type” is set as 1 for Yes in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master.

Data Display in multiline

The multiline displays the following details of the tasks and/or discrepancies  from the selected shop work order.

Task # / Discrepancy #

A tree representation of the tasks / discrepancies in their hierarchical order in the work order.

You can click on the required nodes to display/ hide the next level of hierarchy.

Process parameter dependency: The tree representation appears only if the process parameter "Show tasks & discrepancies in a hierarchical view in Shop Quick Actions Hub multiline?” under the entity type Shop Work Order Type and the entity “All user defined work order types” in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master is set as 1 for Yes. However, if "Show tasks & discrepancies in a hierarchical view in Shop Quick Actions Hub multiline?” is set as 0 for No, the tasks and discrepancies are displayed in the increasing order of Seq. # without any hierarchy in the multiline.

  • BLANK - Cock not yet started

ES

The Estimation status of the task / discrepancy

·          - Estimation status is 'Pending Estimates', 'Pending Confirmation' and 'Re Estimation Required'

·          - Estimation status is 'Confirmed Estimates' and 'Released Estimates'

  •     BLANK - Estimation status is 'Not Required'

SS

The Sign-off status of the task / discrepancy

·         BLANK - Sign Off is 'Not Required'

·         SOFF - Signed Off

·         V - Voided

·         M - Pending Mechanic

RS

The Return status of the task / discrepancy

Execution Comments

Any Execution Comments entered by the employee regarding execution of the task / discrepancy.

Discrepancy

Click the  icon to report discrepancy against the task / discrepancy in the record.

The “Report Findings” tab from the “Record Shop Execution Details” activity appears with details of the source task / discrepancy details.   

Observation

Click the   icon to record observation on the task / discrepancy.

The Record Observation popup appears.

Request Material

Click the   icon to open the “Material Request” tab in the “Record Shop Execution Details” page to raised material requests for the task/discrepancy.

Disassembly

Click the icon to open the “Disassemble & Assemble Core” tab with Disassemble radio button defaulted in the “Record Shop Execution Details” page to record removals against task / discrepancy.

Assembly

Click the icon to open the “Disassemble & Assemble Core” tab with Assemble radio button defaulted in the “Record Shop Execution Details” page to record replacements / attachments against task / discrepancy.

Part Consumption

Click the  icon to open the “Return Main Core” tab of the Record Part Consumption & Return” page to record part consumption % return against task / discrepancy.

Material Request

The count of material requests raised in all statuses against the task / discrepancy.

Component Replacement

The count of component replacements performed in all statuses against the task / discrepancy.

Processing work orders

The icon appears in the “CS” column for the selected records in multiline.
