Create Return Slip – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to return the replaced and excess material to the warehouse during the course of work execution or after completion. The replaced material could be a defective part removed from the aircraft, which must be returned to the respective warehouse. This return process is initiated through a document called “Return Slip”. 

The return slip is created on a warehouse and is assigned a unique system-generated number.

Create a material return slip document

You can create a return slip for the replaced or excess material that has to be returned to the warehouse

• Use the “Create Material Return Slip” page to create a material return slip.

Record the Serial and Lot number details for the return slip

You can record the serial number and lot number details for the parts being returned.

• Use the “Create Material Return Slip” page to create a material return slip.

• Use the “Edit Serial/ Lot No Information” page to enter the details of parts being returned, which  are serial number or lot number controlled.

Edit the return slip

You can modify the return slip already created. You can only modify those return slips that are in the “Fresh” status.
