Authorize Repair Order – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to authorize repair order. Authorization is based on the quotation cost. Authorization allows the repair shop to go ahead with the repair process, when the repair shop’s quotation has been received and the part has not been declared BER.

This activity allows multilevel authorization and the document will undergo various stages, as defined in the “Workflow Management” business component. Once the authorization process of a repair order is confirmed, the repair shop can commence the repair. If there is any revision in the quotation or work scope, the order has to be amended. After amendment, the document will have to be authorized again. Repair orders that are confirmed will be allowed for authorization.
