Create

Select the radio button to record new rules.

Edit/View

Select the radio button to update or view existing rules that were created previously.

Create mode:

Note: The Rule ID and Rule Description fields will remain disabled in the Create mode.

Sub Rule ID

The unique identifier for the rule. Mandatory.

Rule Description

The description of the rule.

Define Rules

Click the icon to open the Define Rules popup. Define Rules popup

The multiline displays the following:

Defined Rules Description

The entire text of the rule as defined in the Define Rules popup.

Edit / View mode:

Rule ID

The rule category to which the rule you want to update / view belongs.  Mandatory.

The drop-down list box is enabled only if you have selected Customer, Model or Customer – Model in the “Rules for” field.

Rule Description

To retrieve rules with specific name / description, enter the name / description. You can use wild cards intermittently in the text you input here to retrieve rules with similar names/ description.

The multiline displays the following:

Rule ID / Description

The rule ID and description of the rule you want to update / view.  Mandatory.

The drop-down list box is enabled only if you have selected Customer, Model or Customer – Model in the “Rules for” field.

Rule ID

Sue the drop-down list box to select the rule category to which the rule you want to update / view belongs.

Sub Rule ID

The description of the rule.

Define Rules
