The “Manage Reliability Alert Definition” page appears.

Alert Rules for

Use the drop-down list box to select the component reliability analysis for which you want to define/update Alert rules. The drop-down list box displays the following: MTBUR/URR, LTR and NFF.

Rules for

Use the drop-down list box to select the rule definition level for component reliability analysis. The drop-down list box displays values based on the selection in the “Alert Rules for” field. This drop-down list box displays:

§  Generic, if you have selected MTBUR/URR in the “Alert Rules for” field

§  Customer, Aircraft Model, Customer – Model and Generic, if you have selected LTR/NFF in the “Alert Rules for” field.

The rule definition level specifies the entity based on which the component removal count is derived to evaluate LTR / NFF.

If Alert rules are set at Customer level, the system derives breakup of removal count based on the customer from which the removed component is received.

If Alert rules are set at Aircraft Model level, the system derives breakup of removal count  based on the aircraft of the model from which the component has been removed

If Alert rules are set at Customer - Model level, the system derives breakup of removal count based on the aircraft owned by specific customer during goods receipt.
