This page allows you to schedule the delivery for those line items whose schedule type is multiple. Tell me more.

The “Edit Schedule & Distribution” page appears.

The system displays the following.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “RFQ Details” group box.

RFQ #

The number identifying the request for quotation document.

Status

The status of the request for quotation document. You cannot modify the details in this page, if the status is “Cancelled” or “Quoted”.

RFQ Line No

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the part for which the schedule must be defined. The system lists all the line numbers in ascending order whose schedule type is “Multiple”, in the ascending order.

The system displays the following.

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Part Description

The textual description pertaining to the part.

Condition

The condition of the part, which could be new, new surplus, overhaul, and serviceable.

Ship To

The organization unit to which the part must be supplied.

RFQ Quantity

The total quantity of the part requested.

UOM

The units of measurement in which the part is to be purchased.

The system displays the following in the “Schedule Details” multiline:

Schedule #

The sequential number generated by the system, on clicking the “Edit Schedule & Distribution” pushbutton.

Schedule Qty

The required quantity of the part on a particular date (Integer). Mandatory. The quantity must greater than zero.

Note: The quantity can be in fractions, if fractions are allowed in the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component.

There must be atleast two records defined in the multiline.

Schedule Date

The date on which the required quantity must be delivered (Date Format). Mandatory. The required date must be greater than or equal to the current date and the RFQ date and it cannot be earlier than the RFQ reply date.

Note: If the schedule quantity is entered, then the schedule date must be entered.

The system regenerates the schedule number.

The system generates the schedule number sequentially.

Create RFQ - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to schedule the delivery for those line items whose schedule type is multiple. On providing the RFQ line number, the system displays the part details such as part description, condition of the part, quantity and the units of measurement in which the parts is purchased. You can distribute the quantity into various schedules by giving various supply dates. The sum of the schedule quantities must be equal to the requested quantity. This page would not be launched in case none of the line number of RFQ has schedule type value selected as “Multiple”.

The system generates the schedule number sequentially on updating the details entered. The system stores the login user ID and the server date along with the modification details..

Define the schedule for every RFQ line item

You can select the line number of the request for quotation document, to retrieve the part for which you need to enter the schedule details.

Note: You can enter the schedule details only for those parts whose schedule type is multiple.

Entry in the “Add Schedule Information” page is mandatory for parts for which the delivery type is set as “Multiple”.
