This page allows you to add TCD rate for the quotation line item. Tell me more.

The “Edit Part TCD Details” page appears.

The system displays the following.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default

The system displays the following in the “Quotation Details” group box.

Quotation #

The number identifying the quotation.

Amendment #

The number identifying the amended quotation.

Status

The status of the quotation. You cannot modify details in this page, if the status is “Open”, “Amended” or “Partially Amended".

Quotation Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the part for which the TCD details must be specified. All the line numbers of the quotation are available for selection in the ascending order.

The system displays the following details of the selected line number:

Part #

The number identifying the part, whose schedule type is “Multiple”.

Part Description

The textual description pertaining to the part.

Zoom facility available.

Condition

The condition of the part, which could be new, new surplus, overhaul, serviceable and unserviceable.

Ship To

The organization unit to which the part has to be supplied.

Quoted Qty

The quoted quantity of the part to be purchased.

UOM

The unit of measurement in which the part is quoted.

Basic Value

The basic value of the quotation.

TCD Total Amount

The total amount of tax, charge or discount at the document level.

TCD Sequence

The sequence in which the TCD # is displayed in the multiline. (Integer).

TCD #

The code that identifies a Tax / Charge / Discount for an item quoted (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. The TCD code must have been defined in the ”Taxes, Charges and Discounts” business component.

TCD Variant #

The code that identifies the standard tax, charge or discount value, which is the variant of the specified TCD code (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. These variants are mapped to the TCD codes.

Note: TCD Code and the TCD Variant must be in “Active” status.

Note: Ensure that the TCD is effective on the current date i.e., 'Effective from' date should be lesser than or equal to the Current date and 'Effective to' date should be greater than or equal to the Current date.

The system displays the following in the "Part TCD Details” multiline.

TCD Type

The TCD type, which could be, “Tax”, “Charge” or “Discount”.

Basis

The basis of the TCD, which could be “Percentage”, “Unit Rate” or “Flat Rate”.

TCD Rate

The TCD rate (Decimal).  Mandatory. For example, if the basis is “Percentage”, then the percentage value, say, 16 or 15 must be entered here.

          

Note: If the TCD code is entered, then TCD variant and TCD rate is mandatory.

The system displays the following.

TCD Amount

The total amount of tax, charge or discount of all the line numbers. This field is calculated by the system from the “Taxes, Charges and Discounts” business component.

Currency

The currency in which the quotation is raised. (Alphanumeric, 20).

TCD Description

A textual description of the tax, charge and discount.

The system updates the last modified by with the login ID of the user and the modified date with the current server date.

Create By

The name of the user who created the quotation.

Created Date

The date on which the quotation was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the person who last modified the quotation.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the quotation was last modified.

Creating Quotation - A summary of the activity

Whenever the quotation is released, in addition to the quantity and rate, TCD code, TCD variant code, the type of the TCD, rate of TCD, TCD basis and the TCD amount can be specified. While taxes and charges add to the value, discounts reduce the value. The tax, charges and the discount (TCD) vary from time to time.

This page allows you to add TCD rate for the quotation line item. On selecting the quotation line number, the system retrieves part details such as part description, condition of the part, and the basis. You can enter the TCD code, variant and the rate for TCD for the part. The system stores the login user ID and the server date along with the modification details.
