Entering the quantity price break details

This page allows you to enter the quantity price break details for those line items whose Quantity Price Break value is set to “Yes” in the main page. Tell me more.

Select the ”Edit Quantity Price Break Details” link at the bottom of the “Create Quotation”, “Edit Quotation” or “Edit Terms and Condition” page.

The “Edit Quantity Price Break Details” page appears.

The system displays the following.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Quotation Details” group box.

Quotation #	The number identifying the quotation.
Amendment #	The number identifying the latest amended quotation.
Status	The status of the quotation. You cannot modify details in this page, if the status is “Cancelled”, “Confirm” or “Authorized.

Enter the following in the “Part Details” group box.

Quotation Line #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the line number of the quotation for which the quantity price details must be defined. The system lists all the line numbers whose schedule type is “Multiple”, in the ascending order.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the part details.

The system displays the following.

Part #	The number identifying the part, whose schedule type is “Multiple”.
Part Description	The textual description pertaining to the part.
Condition	The condition of the part, which could be new, new surplus, overhaul, serviceable and unserviceable.
Ship To	The organization unit to which the part has to be supplied.
Quoted Qty	The quoted quantity of the part to be purchased.
UOM	The unit of measurement in which the part is quoted.

The system displays the following in the “Breakup Details” multiline:

Line #

The line number generated by the system, for every part entered in the multiline. The system generates this number on clicking the “Create Quantity Price Break Details” pushbutton.

Enter the following in the “Breakup Details” multiline:

From Qty	The starting value in the quantity price break range (Integer). Mandatory.
To Qty	The ending value in the quantity price break range (Integer). Mandatory. The quantity must greater than zero.
Cost	The cost of the part in the particular range of quantity. Mandatory.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the line numbers for specifying the price break.

Click the “Edit Qty Price Break Details” pushbutton, to update the quantity price break details.

The system generates the line number sequentially for the parts entered in the multiline.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box.

Create By	The name of the user who created the quotation.
Created Date	The date on which the quotation was created.
Last Modified By	The name of the person who last modified the quotation.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the quotation was last modified.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Edit Quality Attributes” link at the bottom of the page, to enter the quality attribute details.

Entering the quantity price break details – An overview

This page allows you to enter the quantity price break details for those line items whose Quantity Price Break value is set to “Yes” in the main page. On providing the quotation line number, the system displays the part details such as part description, condition of the part, quoted quantity and the unit of measurement in which the parts are quoted. You can specify the quantity range and the cost for the particular range. If there are no line numbers which has Quantity Price Break value set to “Yes” in the main page then this page would not be launched. The system stores the login user ID and the server date along with the modification details.

This page allows you to enter the quantity price break details for those line items whose schedule type is multiple.

Enter the range of the quantity by defining the "From quantity" and "To quantity".

Enter the cost for the corresponding quantity range.

Click the “Edit Qty Price Break Details” pushbutton, to update the quantity price break details.
