Entering the quality attributes for the part
In this page you can specify the quality attributes for the part. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Quality Attributes” link at the bottom of the “Create Quotation”, “Edit Quotation”, “Edit Terms & Conditions” or “Edit Quantity Price Break Details page.
The “Edit Quality Attributes” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Quotation Details” group box:
Quotation # |
The number identifying the quotation. |
Amendment # |
The number identifying the latest amended quotation. |
Status |
The status of the quotation. You cannot modify details in this page, if the status is “Cancelled”, “Confirm” or “Authorized ". |
Enter the following in the “Part Details” group box.
Quotation Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the line number of the quotation for which the quality attributes must be defined. The system lists all the line numbers whose schedule type is “Multiple”, in the ascending order. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the part details.
The system displays the following.

The type of quality attribute. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part, whose schedule type is “Multiple”. |
Part Description |
The textual description pertaining to the part. |
Condition |
The condition of the part, which could be new, new surplus, overhaul, serviceable and unserviceable. |
Ship To |
The organization unit to which the part has to be supplied. |
Quoted Qty |
The total quoted quantity of the part to be supplied. |
UOM |
The units of measurement in which the part is quoted. |
The system displays the following in the “Quality Attribute Details” multiline:
Attribute Code |
The code identifying the attribute. |
Attribute Description |
The textual description of the attribute. |
Attribute Type |
The attribute type, which could be either “Qualitative” or “Quantitative”. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement. |
Std. Min Value |
The minimum acceptable value for the attribute code for the given part number. The standard minimum value is defined in case the attribute is of type "Quantitative". |
Std. Max Value |
The maximum acceptable value for the attribute code for the given part number. The standard maximum value is defined in case the attribute is of type "Quantitative". |
Enter the following in the “Quality Attribute Details” multiline:
Standard Value |
The standard quantitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part (Integer). Mandatory. Ensure that the value entered here is greater than the minimum value and lesser than or equal to the maximum value. You can enter fractional values in this field if the standard UOM allows fractions. |
Minimum Value |
The minimum quantitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part (Integer). Mandatory. You can enter fractional values in this field if the standard UOM allows fractions. |
Maximum Value |
The maximum quantitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part (Integer). Mandatory. Ensure that the value entered here is greater than the minimum value. You can enter fractional values in this field if the standard UOM allows fractions. |

Std Qualitative Value |
The standard qualitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. |
Enter the following in the “Quality Attribute Details” multiline:
Trackable |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the attribute is trackable. The system lists the options, “Yes” and “No”. |
If the part displayed in the “Part Information” group box is serial or lot controlled, the system sets this field to “Yes” by default. Otherwise, this field is set to “No”.
Remarks |
Any comments pertaining to the quality attributes (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the quality attributes, for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected quality attribute details of the line item.
Click the “Edit Quality Attributes” pushbutton, to modify the quality attribute details for the quotation line item.
The system updates the last modified by with the login ID of the user and the modified date with the current server date.
The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box.
Create By |
The name of the user who created the quotation. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quotation was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the person who last modified the quotation. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quotation was last modified. |
Entering the quality attributes for the part – An overview
You can specify the quality attributes for the part. You can specify the line number of the quotation for which you need to enter the quality attribute details. On selecting the quotation line number, the system retrieves part details such as part description, condition of the part, quotation quantity and the UOM. You can enter standard value, minimum and maximum value of the quality attribute for the part. The system stores the login user ID and the server date along with the modification details.

You can specify the quality attributes for the part. You can specify the line number of the quotation for which you need to enter the quality attribute details.
Use the “Quotation Line No” drop-down list box to specify the line number of the quotation for which the quality attributes details must be entered.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the part details.
