Record Aircraft Maintenance Execution Details – A summary of the activity
This activity enables you to create and update the aircraft maintenance execution (AME) details for an aircraft. The aircraft maintenance execution reference document is essentially a line work order, designed to manage all aspects including hangar work execution. For every journey, an aircraft maintenance execution reference is created. The user can create multiple Aircraft Maintenance Execution references for the same aircraft.
The Aircraft Maintenance Execution Reference serves the following purposes:
Creating aircraft maintenance execution reference for an aircraft.
Recording one or more discrepancies observed on the aircraft, and details about the discrepancies.
Deferring discrepancies
Recording the details of work information, for the Aircraft Maintenance Execution Reference.
Signing off work performed
Signing off of bulk work unit/ task/sub task.
Reporting compliance with scheduled minor checks
Recording removals and replacements of a component
Recording the material request, resource consumption details, part consumption details and the effort spent for carrying out the resolution action of any discrepancy.
Editing discrepancy, package and task attributes.

You can create or modify a aircraft maintenance execution reference for an aircraft. Aircraft maintenance execution reference details comprise the discrepancies reported and the action taken for resolving the discrepancy in the aircraft before the commencement of the journey.
Use the Execution Record Details” group box, to create a new aircraft maintenance execution reference for the aircraft.
Discrepancies are typically the deviations from the intended standard of the aircraft, which are observed by the person in charge, such as the pilot, mechanic or the cabin crew. The pilot, the mechanic or the cabin crew reports the discrepancies in the journey log or aircraft maintenance log. The discrepancies can be resolved in the” Hangar Work Order”, “Component Work Order” or "Aircraft Maintenance Log” components.
Discrepancies can also be deferred or carried forward, in instances of non-availability of spares or resources, non-equipped maintenance station, or to avoid delay. A maintenance report can be generated to defer discrepancies of a similar nature.
Click the “Confirm Deferral” icon in the “Discrepancy” group box, to confirm the Deferral.
Select the “Revise Deferral Limits” link in the “Discrepancies” group box, to edit the deferral limits for discrepancies that are already deferred.
Use this page to edit the deferral details for the deferred discrepancy.
Execution details of the work units carried out can be specified here. Work information maintains the details about the type of work to be carried out for the aircraft maintenance execution reference. Signing-off of work unit at task level can also be done.
Record or modify the component replacement information
Recording of component replacement details provide information as to which part number and serial number must be removed from which position code and which component must be installed. Discrepancy(s) reported on the component might also mandate the component to be removed from the aircraft. These replacements are reflected in the physical configuration of the aircraft. A component replacement number is generated for every replacement of the component during confirmation.
Record material request details.
Material Request is a document through which a user department communicates the need for material (required for execution of a job) on a specific date to the respective stocking points i.e. warehouses. Also the consumption details against the issued material can be maintained. The issued part(s) details for the aircraft maintenance execution reference are displayed in the “Component Replacement” tree under “Issued Parts List”.
Aircraft Reg # must be defined in “Active” status in the “Aircraft” business component.
Station must be defined in “Create Station” activity of the “Common Masters” business component,
Work Center must be defined in the “Create Work Center” activity of the “Work Center” business component.
Doc. Type and attributes must be defined in the “Configure Document Attributes” page of the "Common Masters" business component.
