Selecting the purchase order for viewing
This page allows you to select the purchase order for viewing. Tell me more.
Select the “View Purchase Order” link under the “Purchase Order” business component.
The “Select Purchase Order” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following in the “Direct Entry” group box if you know it.
Purchase Order # |
A number identifying the purchase order to be modified (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Select the “View Purchase Order” link along side the field, to view the purchase order details.
Select the “Search Criteria” tab page to search for the purchase order
Select the “Additional Search Criteria” tab page to search based on additional details
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the PO retrieve purchase orders that satisfy the search criteria.
Select the “View Part Info” check box to display part-specific details from the retrieved purchase orders. These details include: Part #, Part Description, Qty, UOM, Schedule Type and Earliest Due Date. Do not select the check box to hide the part details.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline.
Purchase Order # |
The purchase order retrieved by the system. |
PO Date |
The date on which the purchase order was raised. |
PO Type |
The purchase order type. |
Supplier # |
A code that identifies the supplier. |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier. |
Expense Type |
The expense type of the purchase order. |
Purpose |
The purpose of the purchase. |
PO Status |
The status of the purchase orders. The various statuses available are: |

Warehouse # |
The warehouse to which the ordered parts must be shipped by the supplier. If multiple warehouses are associated with the purchase order implying different ordered parts are to be shipped to specific warehouses, this field will display ‘Multiple’. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft. |
FLG |
The authorization trail of the purchase order. On click of the data hyperlink, Authorization Smart popup lists authorization status of the PO document.. |
Part # |
The part ordered for purchase. |
Part Description |
The description of the part ordered for purchase. |
Qty |
The quantity of the part ordered for purchase from the supplier. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement for purchase of the part. |
Scheduled Type |
The delivery type of the part, which could be “Single” or “Multiple”. |
Earliest Due Date |
The earliest need date of the part. |
User Status |
The user status of the purchase order. |
Created By |
The name of the user who created the PO. |
Buyer Group |
A unique code that identifies the buyer group to which the buyer is associated. |
Reason |
The reason for the cancellation of the Purchase Order. |
Core Status |
A concatenation of the unique core statuses of parts in the purchase order. |
Expense To |
The finance book for posting of account entries against the purchase order. |
Authorized Date |
The date on which the purchase order was authorized by the concerned authority. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft. |
Purchase for |
Indicates whether the purchase order must be created for the login organization or for a group company or for the customer. |
Trading Partner |
Displays the concatenation of Trading Partner # and name in the format “Trading Partner # | Trading Partner Name”. |
Subcontract |
Indicates whether the purchase order facilitates subcontract manufacturing and the issue of spare parts against the PO. |
Check the box in the multiline to mark the purchase order for viewing.
Click the hyperlinked purchase order number in the multiline, to view the purchase order details.
Select the “Generate PO Report” link at the bottom of the page to generate the Purchase Order Report.
Select the “Upload Documents” link at the bottom of the page to upload the documents.
Select the “View Associated Doc. Attachments” link at the bottom of the page to view associated document attachments.
Select the “Maintain Supplier Correspondence Details” link at the bottom of the page to update correspondence details of the supplier associated with the purchase order selected in the multiline.
Select the “View GR List” to view the list of receipt documents for the selected purchase order.
Selecting the purchase order for viewing – An overview
This page allows you to select the purchase order for viewing. You can directly enter the purchase order if you know it or can carry out the search using the purchase order number, the date on which the purchase order is raised, the type of the PO, the part number, type of the part, part status, supplier code, the category to which the PO belongs and the user status. The system retrieves the purchase order based on the search criteria entered.
