Creating an engineering advice note – An overview
This page allows you to create a new Engineering Advice Note (EAN) for the ESR. You can enter a unique keyword, which would help you to easily identify the EAN at any point. You can also enter the recommendations given by the engineering cell. The EAN needs to be approved by the regulatory authorities or the OEM as the case may be. However the engineering cell requires the approval details for any major changes made. The status of the new EAN is updated to “Fresh” status.
Note: If you have invoked this page from the “Associate Existing Advice Notes” page, the system displays the details of the selected EAN. You can modify the existing EAN and save it as a new EAN. A new engineering advice note number will be generated.
