Configuring Slot Attributes

In this page, you can define the slot attributes for all the slots associated with a work center. You can define the capability details applicable and the skill sets availability for a slot. Upon saving the slot attributes, the capability and skill availability details get updated in the “Configure Maintenance Execution Slots” page.
Select the “Configure Slot Attributes” link at the bottom of the “Configure Maintenance Execution Slots” page.
The “Configure Slot Attributes” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Date and Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields are to be entered. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Work Center Details” group box:

Work Center # |
The work center to which the slot is associated will be retrieved from the previous page. |

Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center will be retrieved from the previous page. |
Enter the following in the “Slot Details” group box:

Slot # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the slot for which you require to record the slot attributes. The system loads the drop-down list box with the slots of “Active” status defined for the work center in the “Configure Maintenance Execution Slots” page. The system displays the slot selected from the previous page as the default value. |

Slot Description |
The description of the selected slot as defined in the previous page. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the capability details and the skill availability details.
Alternatively, you can define the slot attributes for the selected slot in the work center.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the "Capability Details" tab to record/view the capability details of a slot.
Select the " Standard Skill Availability" tab to record/view the skill availability details of a slot.
