Managing work assignments and reporting
This activity allows the supervisor to plan work for the employee and review the status of the task.
Select the “Manage Work Assignments and Reporting” link under the “Work Monitoring and Control” business component.
The “Manage Work Assignments and Reporting” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to retrieve a task for planning and for assigning employees to this task:
Maintenance Object |
Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance object on which the task execution is carried out. Mandatory. You can enter the values corresponding to the options selected in the drop-down, in the editable boxes provided alongside. The system lists the following options in the drop-down:

Primary Work Center # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the primary work center in which the task execution is carried out. The system lists the following values based on the ‘Maintenance Object’ selected:
The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Ref. Doc. Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the reference document relating to the task execution. The system lists the following values:
The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Ref. Doc. # |
The number identifying the reference document relating to the task execution. (Alphanumeric, 25). |
The system retrieves all the tasks that satisfy your search criteria, and displays them in the left pane below.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Review Work” tab to enter planning details for the task by the supervisor. Later, after mapping employees to the task in the “Managing Employee Work”tab page and booking their time, the supervisor can return to the “Review Work” tab page to review the progress of the task.
Select the “Manage Employee Work” tab to map an employee to the task, and manage the work details of the employee.
