This activity allows the supervisor to plan work for the employee and review the status of the task.

The “Manage Work Assignments and Reporting” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Maintenance Object

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance object on which the task execution is carried out. Mandatory. You can enter the values corresponding to the options selected in the drop-down, in the editable boxes provided alongside. The system lists the following options in the drop-down:

  • Aircraft Reg # - Select this option to indicate the task is executed on the aircraft. However, this option is available only if the user has access rights to the "Record Aircraft Maintenance Execution Details" activity.

  • Part # / Serial # - Select this option to specify that the task is executed on the part. However, this option is available only if the user has access rights to the “Record Shop Execution Details" activity.

  • Component # - This option is available only if the user is mapped to the “Record Shop Execution Details" activity.

Primary Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the primary work center in which the task execution is carried out. The system lists the following values based on the ‘Maintenance Object’ selected:

  • All the ‘Active’ work centers with Execution capability defined as “Hangar”, “Line” or “All” and ‘Work Center Class’ defined as “Execution” in the “Work Center” business component, if the ‘Maintenance Object’ is set as “Aircraft Reg #”.

  • All the ‘Active’ work centers with Execution capability defined as “Shop” or “All” and ‘Work Center Class’ defined as “Execution” in the “Work Center” business component, if the ‘Maintenance Object’ is set as “Part # / Serial” or “Component”.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

Ref. Doc. Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the reference document relating to the task execution. The system lists the following values:

  • If the ‘Maintenance Object’ is set as “Aircraft Reg #”, the system lists all the ‘Active’ AME Package Types that are defined in the “Define Process Entities” activity of the “Common Masters” business component.

  • If the ‘Maintenance Object’ is set as “Part # / Serial #” or “Component”, the system lists all the ‘Active’ SWO Types defined in the “Define Process Entities” activity.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

The number identifying the reference document relating to the task execution. (Alphanumeric, 25).
