Review/Plan Material Requirements – A summary of the activity

This screen facilitates the Production Planner to track material Requirements for the manufacturing job. Also the planner can plan the respective requirements for the Tasks, based on the Plan Start Dates of the respective tasks. Basically this screen aims to plan material requirements effectively to complete the manufacturing job within stipulated timelines.

The system aids the planner by providing the Recommended Action for the Requirement and also displays the Proposed Order Date for the planner based on the lead time so as to help him avoid stock or overstocking of inventory.

This page lists the entire Task Part Requirements and also helps to generate the Source Documents for the Requirements. Sourcing strategy can be either from Inventory or Procurement or make. It should also display the Constraint information along with the Planning status for each requirement.

The provision of Child /Related WO, Planner enables the planning or scheduling of the entire activities for the completion of the final part or job. Constraint information along with the Planning status for each material requirement is also displayed.
