The “View Task Information” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Task Details” group box:

Task Applicability   

Indicates whether the task is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the task can be performed

Task #

The task selected for viewing.

Revision #

The latest revision number for the task.

Task Type

The type of the task which could be one of the following: “MPD", "CMM", "MOD", "Non-Routine" or "Others".

Status

The current status of the task, which could be one of the following:

 

  • Fresh - When the task is created/revised and not yet activated.

 

  • Active – When the task has been activated.

 

  • Inactive – When the task has been inactivated in the “Maintain Activated Tasks” activity.

 

  • Return - When the task has been returned in the “Authorize Task” activity, for further modification.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Long Description

The long description of the task.

Zoom facility available.

Revision Type

The type of the revision which could be “Internal” or “External”.

Revision Date

The date on which the task was last revised.

Task Category

The category to which the task belongs.

Task Class

The class to which the task belongs. The system displays “Non-Standard Task” or “Standard Task”.

Operations Type

The operation type of the maintenance activity.

Work Center #

The number identifying the work center primarily responsible for executing the work unit.

Model Effectivity

The system displays either “All” or “Restricted” depending on the association of models to the task.

 

  • All – If models have not been associated to the task. This indicates that the task is applicable for all models.

  • Restricted - If models have been associated to the task. This indicates that the task is applicable only for the specified models.

Customer Effectivity

Indicates the customer effectivity of the task. The system displays one of the following:

  • “Multiple” – Indicates that multiple customers have been associated to the task.

  • “All” – Indicates that no customer is associated to the task.The system displays the customer number, if one customer is associated to the task.

The system displays the following in the “Task Additional Details” group box:

Non- Standard Task #

The non-standard task number, if this task has been converted from a non-standard task.

Task Description

The textual description of the task

ATA #

The ATA chapter number that indicates the system in which the task has to be performed.

System Description

The textual description of the ATA chapter.

DSC #

The dependent system condition to which the task is associated.

  • Click the hyperlinked DSC number, to view the dependent system condition details.

DSC Description

The textual description of the dependent system condition.

Zoom facility available

Est. Man Hrs.

The total man-hours estimated for the “skill” type resources to complete the task.

Insp. Man Hrs.

The total man hours required for inspection.

Est. Elapsed Time

 

The total time estimated for completing the task. The estimated elapsed time also includes time required for performing pre-execution or post-execution activities.

 

The unit of measurement for the estimated time, which could be “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days”, is displayed alongside.

Wrench Time

The total time estimated for the actual execution of the task.

Ideal Time

The ideal time recommended by the OEMs for the completion of the task.

Exec. Phase

The execution phase of the task, such as Preparatory, Regular and Post-Flight.

The system displays the following in the “Sub-Tasks” multiline:

Seq #

The sequence in which the sub task has to be performed, while executing the maintenance task.

Sub Tasks

The sub task that has to be performed while executing the maintenance task.

Resource group

The resource group for performing the sign-off of the sub-task. The system displays one of the following:

  • “Not Required” – Indicates that the sign-off is not required.

  • “Mechanic” – Indicates that the sign-off is performed by the mechanic.

  • “Inspector” – Indicates that the sign-off is performed by the inspector.

  • “Insp. & Mech.” – Indicates that the sign-off is performed by both the inspector and mechanic.

Document ID

The name of the reference document which contain the description, drawing or any other detail about the sub task.

File Name

The filename of the document.

  • Click the hyperlinked file name, to view the file details.

AMM / CMM Item #

The Aircraft Maintenance Manual or the Component Maintenance Manual item number of the sub-task

MPD Item #

The Maintenance Planning Document item number of the sub-task.

DSC #

The dependent system condition to which the sub-task is associated.

  • Click the hyperlinked file name, to view the file details.

  • Click the hyperlinked DSC number to view the dependent system condition details.

DSC Description

The textual description of the dependent system condition.

Parameter Readings?

Indicates whether the parameter readings are defined for the sub-task. The system displays “Yes” or “No”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Reference Details” group box:

Related Task #

The task related to the task being viewed.

AMM / CMM Item #

The Aircraft Maintenance Manual or the Component Maintenance Manual item number.

Source Document #

The reference document number based on which the task has been generated.

Source Document Type

The type of the source document, which could be “Engineering Order”, “A/C Maint. Exe. Ref #”, “Discrepancy Processing”, “Component Work Order, “Hangar Work Order” "Line Operation" or “Others”.

Manufacturer #

The code of the manufacturer from which the task originated.

Manufacturer Name

The name of the manufacturer.

MPD Item #

The Maintenance Planning Document item number of the task.

Work Location Ref. #

The work location reference number of the task.

User Defined 1

Any additional information concerning the task.

User Defined 2

Any additional information concerning the task.

The system displays the following fields in the “Document Attachment Details” group box:

File Name

The file name of the document that is attached to the task.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following field:

Link Info

Indicates whether part, resource details or notes are entered for the task. The system displays one of the following:

 

  • P - if part details are available

 

  • R – if resource details are available

 

  • N – if notes have been entered

 

  • P/R – if part and resource details are available

 

  • P/N - if part details and notes are entered

 

  • R/N - if resource details and notes are entered

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created by

The name of the user who created the task.

Created Date

The date on which the task was originally created.

Last Modified by

The name of the user who last modified the task.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the task was last modified.

Approved by

The name of the user who approved or activated the task.

Approved Date

The date on which the task was approved

Comments

.Any additional comments or remarks pertaining to the task.

Viewing task information– An overview

View Task - A summary of the activity

You can view the details of the selected task in this page. General details pertaining to the task such as task effectivity, base aircraft model number, task number, description, status, revision number, revision type, revision date, task category and task type are displayed by the system. You can also view the details of related tasks, and sub tasks.

The system denotes whether you have entered notes, parts and resource details for the task.
