This page allow you to  view the details of the resources that are required for completing the task. Tell me more

The “View Resource/Sign-Off Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Task Details” group box:

Task Applicability  

Indicates whether the task is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the task can be performed

Task #

The task selected for viewing.

Revision #

The revision number of the task for which the resource details are displayed.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

The system displays the following in the “Resource Details” multiline:

Resource Type

The type of the resource, which could be “Tools”, “Others”, “Skills” or “Equipment”.

Resource #

The resource required for completing the task.

Resource Description

The description of the resource.

Time Unit

The unit of measurement for the resource time, which could be “Hours”, “Minutes” or “Days”.

Est. Time

The number of hours, minutes or days for which the resource is required to complete the task.

Est. Nos.

The number of resources required for completing the task.

Approval Reqd.?

Indicates whether the resource should be an approved resource or not. The values in this field could be “Yes” or “No”.

Sign-Off?

Indicate whether the user has to sign after the task has been carried out by the resource. The values in this field could be “Yes” or “No”.

The system displays the following field in the “Resource Sign-Off Information” group box:

Resource Type

The type of the resource, which could be “Tools”, “Others”, “Skills” or “Equipment”. The system displays “Skills” by default.

Resource #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the resource required for completing the task. The system lists all the resources specified in the “Resource Details” multiline, for which “Resource Type” is “Skills” and “Sign-Off?” flag is set as “Yes”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Sub-Task Sign-Off Information” multiline, on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

The system lists all the sub-tasks of the resources for which the “Sign-Off? flag is set as “Yes” in the “Resource Details” multiline.

Seq #

The sequence in which the sub task has to be performed, while executing the maintenance task.

Sub Tasks

The sub task that has to be performed while executing the maintenance task.

Resource Group

The resource group for performing the sign-off of the sub-task. The system displays one of the following:

  • “Not Required” – Indicates that the sign-off is not required.

  • “Mechanic” – Indicates that the sign-off is to be performed by the mechanic.

  • “Inspector” – Indicates that the sign-off is to be performed by the inspector.

  • “Insp. & Mech.” – Indicates that the sign-off is to be performed by both the inspector and mechanic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Viewing resource/sign-off information for the task – An overview

View Task - A summary of the activity

You can view the details of the resources that are required for completing the task, in this page. Details such as the type of resource, resource code, resource description, time unit, estimated duration and the required number of resources, can be viewed. You can also view details pertaining to whether approval for using the resource is required or not, and whether the resource has to sign after the work has been carried out, for “Skill” type resources.

This page also allows you to view the sign-off details pertaining to the task/sub-task.
