Setting up MTBUR limits for parts
Select the “Set MTBUR Limits for Parts” link under the “Reliability Analysis” business component.
The “Set MTBUR Limits for Parts” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Summary Details” group box.
Count of Parts with Alert Values defined |
The number of parts for which the MTBUR Alert Value (FH) has already been set. |
Count of Parts with SPSA defined |
The number of parts for which service agreement of type SPSA exists. |
Count of Parts with VPSA defined |
The number of parts for which service agreement of type VPSA exists. |
Count of Parts in Watch List |
The number of parts for which the watch list details have already been specified. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to find the part for which you want to define MTBUR alert value, Support agreement and Watch list details.
Part # |
The identification number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). The multiline displays details of the part you specify here. |
Part Description |
The short description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150). The multiline displays the part with descriptions similar to the one you specify here. |
Part Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the part type. The system displays the following values: Raw Material, Component, Expendable, Tool, Miscellaneous, Consumable and, Kit. The multiline displays parts of the type you specify here. |
Part Group |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the classification of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). The list displays the part groups with the Attribute “Controlled” set to “Yes” in the Part Administration component and the The multiline displays the parts classified under the group you specify here. |
Supplier # |
The identification number of the supplier (Alphanumeric, 45). The multiline displays suppliers with identification numbers similar to the one specified here. |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier (Alphanumeric, 150). The multiline displays suppliers with names similar to the one specified here. |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
Select the "Alert Value" tab record alert values for the specified part.
Select the "Support Agreement" tab to record support agreement details for the part.
Select the “Watch List" tab to add parts to the Watch List.
The system displays available information for parts in the multiline of tabs, which you can modify.
Select the “Set MITBUR Limits for Parts” pushbutton to save MITBUR levels for parts.
