Set MTBUR Limits for Parts – A summary of the activity

Through this activity, you can set the Alert limit of parts as well as the estimated MTBUR (Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removals) for various support agreement types. This key information provides the basis for  evaluating  component reliability.

You can also add specific parts to a log called Watch list to facilitate regular and critical monitoring of their operational performance. The system automatically includes these parts in reliability reports, whenever reliability analysis for a reliability fleet is carried out.

This activity is the prerequisite for the “Analyze MTBUR for Parts" activity.

Set the Alert limit

4Specify the Alert Value (FH) for parts attached to aircrafts of a reliability fleet.

Set the MTBUR (FH) for support agreement types

4Specify the MTBUR limit estimated by each support agreement type for parts attached to aircrafts in a reliability fleet.

Add parts to Watch list

You can include specific parts to ‘Watch list’ for critical monitoring of these parts.
