What you can do in this activity

Cycle Counting (CC) is an inventory control method to check and control the variation between the system inventory records and the actual inventory levels. Cycle count helps you to detect process faults that produce inventory inaccuracies and can thus help in systematically improving the inventory accuracy. It also helps in reducing the stock transactional problems arising out of the difference between the stock records and the stock actuals.

Cycle counting is performed throughout the year on a “performance-dependent” schedule so that an attempt is made to count all the items at least once a year. The cycle counting operation involves the following steps:
