Create Consumption Account Definition – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to define two types of consumption accounts namely – Aircraft account and Consumption account. These account definitions are basically used to post the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) based transactions. You can define aircraft and consumption accounts with or without parameters. In cases of defining accounts based on parameters, the list of parameters to be used for every event can also be mentioned in the “Set Consumption Parameters” page of this activity. Also, these definitions when created with parameters can be assigned to specific events. Note that, accounts can be defined with parameters only if the “Consumption Accounting based on Parameters” parameter has been set to “Yes” in the “Set Function Defaults” activity of this business component.

This activity also allows you to view the individual details of the aircraft and consumption accounts that have been defined.

The consumption parameters can be set for the respective events of the aircraft and component accounts

• Go to “Set Consumption Parameter” page.

• Set the consumption parameter to define the consumption accounts based on the parameter.
