Basics of using a Ramco Enterprise Series web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to view the details of an aircraft account. You can search for the account details based on the event, finance book to which the account has been mapped, the aircraft account, order type, order category, planning base, maintenance base or reporting station, work center, usage type, visit category, aircraft model number, aircraft ownership, job type and work order class. The system retrieves the account definitions based on the search criteria.

The “View Aircraft Account Definition” page appears.

Event

Use the drop-down list box to select the event based on which an aircraft account has been defined. The system displays the option  “A/C Maint. Exe. Ref #” , ‘Hangar WO’.  By default the system displays “Blank value”.

Finance Book

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book. All the finance books mapped to the company to which the login organization unit belongs, for which the aircraft accounts have already been defined, will be available for selection. The system displays the first finance book in the list by default on launch of the page.

Account #

The code identifying the aircraft account (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the account number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all account numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Help facility available

Entity Accounted

Use the drop-down list box to select the accounting entity to which the finance entries pertinent to the aircraft are posted, The system lists all the accounting entities available in the “Account Rule Definition” business component, such as Material, Resources and Others.

Search By

Use the drop-down list box and select the following options based on which aircraft account definition details are retrieved. The system lists the following options if  the Event selected is  A/C Maint. Exe. Ref #:

Document Class, Document Category, Document Type, Task Type, Planning Base, Maintenance Base, Reporting Station, Field Base, Work Center, Usage Type, Aircraft Model, Aircraft Ownership, and Job Type,

The system lists the following options if  the Event seloected is Hangar WO:

Order Type, Order Category, Planning Base, Maintenance Base, Work Center, Usage Type, Aircraft Model, Aircraft Ownership, Visit Category, WO Class, and Job Type.,

The system leaves the field blank by default.

Get History

Check this box to retrieve all the earlier definitions pertaining to a specific account based on the search criteria.

The system displays the following in the “Account Definition Details” multiline:

Event

The event, which could be “Hangar Work Order” or “A/C Maint. Exe. Ref #”.

Document Class / Order Type

The type of the work order, which could be planned or unplanned.

Document Category / Order Category

The category to which the Hangar work order or A/C Maint. Exe. Ref # belongs.

Document Type

The type of document to which the account has been defined.

Task Type

The task type to which the account code has been defined.

Planning Base

The planning base associated with the aircraft account.

Maintenance Base

The code identifying the maintenance base.

Reporting Station

The code identifying the reporting station.

Field Base

The work center to which the aircraft is associated.

Work Center

The code identifying the work center.

Usage Type

The code identifying the type of usage.

Visit Category

The visit category.

Aircraft Model

The code identifying the aircraft model.

Aircraft Ownership

The type of aircraft ownership.

Job Type

The code identifying the job type.

WO Class

The code identifying the work order class.

Entity Accounted

The account head to which the finance entries pertinent to the aircraft are posted, such as Material, Resources, "Ext.Repair"  and Others.

Account #

The code identifying the aircraft account.

Account Description

The description pertaining to the aircraft account.

Currency

The transaction currency of the aircraft account.

Effective From Date

The date from which the aircraft account definition is effective.

Valid Upto Date

The date till which the aircraft account definition is effective.
