Viewing Separation Details: This activity allows you to view the separation process of the employee from an organization. Separation refers to the process of the employee services getting terminated or the contract of employment getting over due to resignation, dismissal due to disciplinary action, death, retirement or any other reason.

The details you can view comprise the identification details of the employee such as, the unique code of the employee and name, the department in which the employee is working and the department, job titles.  You can also view the compensation details such as, the base salary of the employee, the grade set, grade applicable as well as the cost center to which they are mapped. The other details comprise the code and name of the initiator who initiated the separation process for the employee and the supervisor who authorized the separation process.

The separation details you can view comprise the reason for which the employee is being separated from the organization, the date on which the employee notified about his/her intention to leave or was notified by the organization to leave. The system also displays the last available date, which is the date till which the employee is available and the separation date which is the date on which the employee will be separated from the organization.

You can also view if the employee is eligible for rehire or if the notice period has been waived off or if the separation process has been effected with a backdate, and the comments entered about the separation process. 

In addition, you can view the exit interview conducted at the time of initiating the separation process to solicit the reasons for which the employee is leaving the organization.

Data Level Security permissions set for the login user.

Separation process initiate for the selected employee and submitted for authorization.

Definition of Employment Units interacting with the Employee Movement Unit.

Definition of Date Formats in the ADMIN component.

Definition of employee codes in the interacting Employee Code Setup Component.

Employee Codes and Employee Names recorded in the interacting Personal Information component.

Definition of positions, departments,  jobs, grade sets and grades in the interacting Unit Structure component.
