This page allows you to view the transaction details of the parts. Tell me more.

The “Part – Serial #/Lot # Transaction History” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which you wish to view the stock balance (Alphanumeric, 40). The system retrieves the part number similar to the value entered here. Mandatory.

Help facility is available.

Period

Use the drop-down list box to select the duration for the parts in the warehouse. The system provides the options “Last 3 Months”, “Last 6 Months”, “Last 12 Months”, and “Last 24 Months”, and sets the field to “Blank” by default. The system retrieves the transaction records for selected period.

Leave this field blank to retrieve all the transaction records irrespective of the period.

Location

Use the drop-down list box to select the Organization Unit (OU). The system sets the field “Blank” by default.

Warehouse #

Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse defined for the Storage Administration business component.  The system retrieves the transaction records for the selected warehouse number.

Leave this field blank to retrieve all the transaction records irrespective of the warehouse number.

Note: The system ensures that the transaction records are not retrieved, if warehouse is selected and even if “Component Replacement” check box is selected.

Part Ownership

Use the drop-down list box to select the part ownership. The system lists “INTERNAL”, CUSTOMER”, “SUPPLIER” and “OTHERS”.

The system retrieves transaction records of all parts regardless of their ownership, if you have not selected any value here.

Stock Status

The stock status of the part. The system retrieves the statues defined in UDSS component based on selection of “Part Ownership”. Leave this field blank, if the part ownership is blank.

Serial #

Enter the serial number of the part, for which you wish to view the stock balance details. (Alphanumeric, 40). The system retrieves the serial number similar to the value entered here.

Manufacturer Serial #

The number identifying the serial number issued by the manufacturer, to identify the part.

Lot #

Enter the lot number of the part for which you wish to view the stock balance details. (Alphanumeric, 18). The system retrieves  the lot number similar to the value entered here.

Manufacturer Lot #

The number identifying the lot number issued by the manufacturer.

Display Option

Use the drop-down list box to select the display option of “Transaction Summary” and “Transaction Details”. The system sets the field to  “Blank” by default.

From / To Date

The date from which the parts transaction details must be viewed. Enter the date until which the parts transaction details must be viewed, in the box provided alongside. The From Date must be lesser or equal to the system date and “To Date”. The To Date must be lesser than or equal to the system date.

Leave these fields blank to retrieve all transaction records irrespective of the dates.

Trading Partner Type

The system retrieves the status as “CUSTOMER” or SUPPLIER”, if the “Part Ownership” is set to “CUSTOMER” or “SUPPLIER”. Leave this field blank, if the “Part Ownership” is set to “OTHERS” or “INTERNAL”.

Trading Partner #

The unique code identifying the supplier or customer (Alphanumeric, 45). The system retrieves the reference document number with the trading partner number entered here.

Include Part # / Serial # Revisions?

Check this box to view all the transactions including the part # / serial # revisions for the specified part-serial combination.

This box must be checked only if the Serial # or Manufacturer Serial # is entered for the part specified.

Include Alternates?

Check this box to view the details of the alternate part of the selected part.

Note: 1) If you have specified the part # alone, the system retrieves details of the part in the rest of the relevant fields of the search criteria. 2) The system retrieves the part transaction records between “From Date” and “To Date”, that are entered

All

Check this box to display all the transaction details of the parts along with the Part #/Serial # change transaction details.  The system checks this box by default.

Stock Receipts

Check this box to display the transaction details of  the stock receipt of the parts.

Stock Returns

Check this box to display the transaction details of  the stock returns of the parts.

Component Replacement

Check this box to display the transaction details of the component replacement of the parts.

Stock Issue

Check this box to display the transaction details of the stock issue of the parts.

Goods and Repair Receipt

Check this box to display the transaction details of  the goods and repair receipt of the parts.

Stock Status Conversion

Check this box to display the transaction details of  the stock status conversion of the parts.

Loan/Rental Receipt

Check this box to display the transaction details of  the loan/rental receipt of the parts.

Main Cores

Check this box to display the transaction details of  the main cores of the parts.

Customer Goods Receipt

Check this box to display the transaction details of the customer goods receipt of the parts.

Stock Correction

Check this box to display the transaction details of  the stock correction of the parts.

Part # Serial # Change

Check this box to display the change document details of the part-serial change transaction.

Note: The system displays the date and time when the Part # - Serial # / Lot Transaction Scheduler was last run, adjacent to the “Search” pushbutton. The transactions recorded until the displayed date and time are retrieved in the multiline.

Note: The system displays the specific transaction records of the selected part, considering the transactions specific to “From Date”, “To Date” and “Period”, and displays all transaction records if “From Date”, “To Date” and “Period” are blank.

Note: For the Selected Part  and other search combination, the various transaction documents are fetched along with its “Document Type”. The “Reference Document #” and “Reference Document Type” are also fetched against the transaction. The system retrieves the documents with the following statuses:

  1. Goods Receipts & Repair Receipts- Receipts for which the line status for the part specified is "Inspected" or "Moved".

  2. All other Receipts, Returns and Issue Documents - Confirmed status

  3. Stock Status Conversions - Confirmed status

  4. Stock Corrections - Authorized status

  5. Component Replacements - Removed and Replaced statuses

The system displays the following in the “Part Information” group box: based on the search criteria entered:

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Part Description

The description of the part.

Part Category

The user defined category to which the part belongs.

Part Type

The type of the part as defined in the “Part Administration” business component. It could be “Raw Material”, “Component”, “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Kit” or “Consumable”

Valuation Method

The method in which the costing of the part is done at an inventory location. The valuation method could be "Standard Cost", "LIFO (Last In First Out)", "FIFO (First In First Out)", "Actual Cost" or "Weighted Average Rate".

  • LIFO – Indicates that the parts are issued at the latest price.

  • FIFO – Indicates that the parts are issued at the earliest receipt prices.

  • Actual Cost – Indicates that the receipts and issues of a part are always made at the actual cost.

  • Weighted Average Rate – Indicates that the issue rate is calculated as the average of receipt values divided by the receipt quantity.

Current Part Rate

The present stock value of the part in base currency.

Stock UOM

The unit of measurement in which the part is stocked in the warehouse.

Component #

The number of the component.

This page allows you to view the transaction summary and transaction details of the part using the part ownership, serial number or lot number of the part as search criteria. You can also view the transaction summary and transaction details of the alternate part of the selected part.
