View Delay Report – A summary of the activity
In this activity, you can view the delay details that are already entered for the fleet and are posted from Aircraft History to Aircraft Reliability by running the upload utility provided by “Reliability Set Up” business component. Airlines recognize delay flights if they are delayed beyond a certain extent. For example, most airlines under FAA follow certain standards - a delay more than 15 minutes is considered as delay. In this analysis, delay occurrences are furnished category-wise, for the fleet and for the individual aircraft.
For the reliability period and for the fleet, delay instances are identified as per the option setting, after taking into consideration all the Journey Log data. The option setting indicates the time beyond which a flight should be identified as delayed. If a delay report is associated to the Journey Log, then the delay report information will be given preference. For the fleet and for the individual aircraft, the data will be classified month-wise, in order to furnish month-wise details of delay instances for each of the delay category.
The “Select Reliability Fleet” page allows you to select the fleet for which the delay details are to be viewed. You can view the summary of the delay report in the “View Fleet Delay Summary Report” page. You can also view the detailed monthly delay report in the “View Monthly Delay Details Report” page.
