Work Area / Zone details
Sub-Tasks details
Task References details
Notes
The system ensures that all the tasks in the same Applicability Group # do not have ‘Initiated / Reset By’ set as “Related Task Compliance”.
Example:
Task # Applicable Group # Initiated/Reset By
T1 1,3,4 Self Compliance
T2 3 Related Task Compliance
T3 6 Related Task Compliance
T4 1,6 Related Task Compliance
T5 4 Self Compliance
T6 6 Related Task Compliance
Note: The system will throw error for the task ‘T3’, since all the tasks in the Applicable Group# '6' is having 'Related Task Compliance'. For all the other Applicable Group # 's there is at least one task which is having 'Self Compliance', hence system will save those tasks.
If cost details are not are available in the Eng Doc # in the respective fields in 'Budgetary Information' section of the “More Information” tab, the system calculates and updates the following Cost Details for the ‘Existing’ Task based on the estimates available for the saved tasks in the “Maintenance Task” business component.
Part cost = Sum of Std Cost of all the estimated parts of Tasks.
Note: Part Estimates for the tasks are defined in the “Maintenance Task” business component. Standard Cost of the Part is defined in the “Part Administration” business component. S

Next Schedule Date (NSD / Next Schedule Value (NSV) computation:
If ‘Initiate / Reset By’ is flipped from “Related Task Compliance” to “Self-Compliance”, the system computes NSD / NSV as follows, based on the ‘Action on Rev. Effec. ?’ set for the applicability group:
Action on Rev. Effec. ? |
Availability of Threshold date / Threshold Interval / Repeat Interval |
NSD / NSV |
Blank / Re-comply / Carry Over Compliance: Task not complied |
|
NSD = Threshold Date NSV = Threshold Value |
|
NSD = Eff. From Date + Threshold Interval NSV = Parameter value of Eff. From Date + Threshold Interval |
|
|
NSD = Eff. From Date + Repeat Interval NSV = Parameter value of Eff. From Date + Repeat Interval |
|
Note: NSD / NSV is not computed, if Eff. From Date is not available. |
||
Carryover Compliance: Complied : Task complied |
|
NSD = Last Performed Date + Repeat Interval NSV = Last Performed Value + Repeat Interval |
|
NSD / NSV is not computed |
If the Schedule-Tracked / As Required / Perpetual tasks are deleted from the revised Engineering Document, and if the engineering document is released, the system inactivates the tasks in the corresponding program.
If the ‘Tracking Type’ is changed from “Schedule-Tracked” to “Non-Tracked” / “Perpetual” / “As Required”, the system deletes the schedules associated with Task # - Revision # - Applicability Group #.
If 'Initiate / Reset By' is modified from "Self-Compliance" to "Related Task Compliance", the system deletes the NSD / NSV computed for Task # - Revision # - Applicability Group #. But the Schedules and the Threshold Date / Value are not deleted. On flip of 'Initiate / Reset By' from to "Related Task Compliance" system will compute NSD / NSV based on schedules.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the tasks selected in the multiline.
The system deletes the tasks for the engineering document and the revision number combination. The piece part requirement, resource information, work area and zone information, notes, references and subtasks information of the task are also deleted for the engineering document.4
