This page enables you to create the Fleet Campaign Directive (FCD), to communicate a minor engineering change that does not involve configuration changes, or revisions to approved tasks. A unique number identifies the fleet campaign directive (FCD). Based on the option settings, the system either generates the FCD number automatically, or enables you to enter it manually. To generate the number automatically, you must specify the numbering type in this page.
You can specify the category to which the FCD belongs, user status, description and the ATA chapter to indicate the system on which the FCD has to be performed.
The reference document details such as the Modification Committee Meeting number, date on which the MCM was convened, Maintenance Change Request (MCR) number, revision number of the MCR and the source document type can be specified.
You can specify whether the FCD is applicable for the aircraft, component or engine. You can assign a priority for the FCR and enter the background details and reason for generating the FCD.
The execution details of the FCD, such as the work center in which the FCD must be performed, estimated time and man-hours required for the execution of the FCD, must also be defined.
You can also indicate whether,
the FCD has to be performed in the original place of the part, and
follow-up action is required after executing the FCD.
You can also specify the name of the file that contains the details of the FCD or any other document pertaining to the FCD.
The system assigns the “Fresh” status as soon as the FCD is created, and sets the creation date and time to the server date and time
Note: If approval requirements are specified in the “Set Authorization Rules” activity, for the combination of the change document type and the source document type of the FCD, the system sets the “Authorization Status” of the FCD as “Pending” in the "Edit FCD" activity. Otherwise, the “Authorization Status” is set as “Authorization Not Required”.
