Entering resource requirements for FCD
This page allows you to add or modify the details of resources required for executing the FCD. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Resource Requirements” link at the bottom of the “Create Fleet Campaign Directive” or “Edit Fleet Campaign Directive” page.
The “Edit Resource Requirements” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the "FCD Details" group box:

The FCD for which the resource details must be specified. |
Subject |
The textual description of the FCD. |
Enter the following:
Resource Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the resource for which the details are to be added or modified. The system provides the options “Skills”, “Tools”, “Equipment” and “Others”. The system sets the field to “Skills” by default. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the details of resources that have already been defined for the FCD.
Enter the following in the “Resource Details” multiline:
Resource # |
The resource required to execute the FCD (Alphanumeric, 40) Mandatory. The resource must have been defined in the “ “ business component, and must be unique within the multiline. |

Note: In the event of modifying the already associated resource number, the system displays an error message. To delete associated resources, check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the "Delete" button.
The system fills in the following field:

Enter the following fields:
Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of measurement for the resource time, which could be “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days”. The system sets the field to “Hours” by default. |
Est. Elapsed Time |
The number of hours, minutes or days for which the resource is required to execute the FCD (Decimal). Mandatory. Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive. |
Est. Nos. |
The number of resources required to execute the FCD (Integer). Ensure that the value entered is positive. |
Approval Reqd.? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether approval for using the resource is required or not. The system lists the options Yes” and “No”, and displays “No” by default. |
Sign-Off? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the user has to sign after the FCD has been carried out by the resource. The system provides the options “Yes” and “No”. This field is applicable only for “skill” type of resources. |
Note: Ensure that atleast one resource is entered in the multiline.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the resource for deletion.
Click the “Delete” pushbutton, to delete the resources selected in the multiline.
Click the "Edit Resource Requirements" pushbutton, to add or modify the details of the resource.
Entering resource requirements for FCD – An overview
This page allows you to add or modify the details of resources required for executing the FCD. You can enter details such as the resource code, type of the resource, estimated duration and the number of resources needed. You can also indicate whether the resource should be an approved resource or not, and whether sign off is required for the “Skill” type resource.
You can also retrieve details of resources that have already been defined for the FCD and modify them. The system updates the resource details and sets the last modified date to the current server date.

You can enter the details of the resources that are required for FCD execution. You can select the resource type and enter the resource details.
Select the facility type in the “Resource Type” drop-down list box.
Enter the resource number, estimated quantity, time unit and the estimated time in the “Resource Details” multiline.
Indicate whether approval is required for resource
You can specify whether approval is required for using the resource or not.
Set the “Approval Reqd.?” drop-down list box to “Yes” to indicate that the usage of resource needs approval.
Set the “Approval Reqd.?” drop-down list box to “No” to indicate that the usage of resource does not need approval.
