Manage Process Plan - A summary of the activity
A process plan is a set of operations / tasks that need to be performed in sequence to manufacture a part. All the tasks will be logically grouped to manufacture a part. While creating a work order, the system will automatically copy the process plan definition and list all the tasks that need to be executed to manufacture a part.
This activity allows identifying a process plan to manufacture a part. While defining a process plan, if the task listed in the process plan does not exist in the Task Master, the system will create a new standard task in the Task Master in ‘Authorized’ status, while saving the process plan. You can also revise the process plan by adding / removing tasks.
