The “Create Benefit Group” page appears.
The system displays the following.

Date format |
The date format applicable to the login user. More Details. |
Enter or select the following
|
Benefits Definition Unit |
Select the organization unit in which you must create benefits group. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to create benefits group. Tell me more |

Benefit Group Code |
The unique code that will identify a benefit group |
|
Benefit Group Short Description |
The unique short description of the benefit group |
|
Benefit Group Description |
A full description of the benefit group. |
|
Currency |
The currency applicable to the benefit group. By default the system will display US dollars. |
|
Effective From Date |
The date from which the benefit group will be in effect. |
|
Effective To Date |
The date until which the benefit group will be in effect. |
To specify maximum coverage details
Enter the maximum amount that can be covered for an employee in the benefit group.

Amount |
The maximum amount that an employee can be covered for the plans listed in the multiline. |
|
Rule |
The rule name that determines the maximum coverage |
Note that you can enter either the amount or the rule name only. If both are specified, the system will throw an error.
Enter the following in the multiline.

Plan Type Code |
The unique code that identifies the plan type that must be added to the benefit group |
|
Plan Code |
The unique code that identifies the plan that must be added to the benefit group |
|
Description |
The description of the plan code or the plan type. If plan type code is entered, the plan description will be displayed. If plan code is specified, the plan description will be displayed by the system. |
|
Plan Limit |
The maximum amount that can be covered in the plan type or plan. |
|
Rule |
The rule name that will determine the maximum amount to be covered for the specified plan type or plan. |
Note that you must enter either the plan type or plan code in a single row of the multiline.. If you specify both, the system will throw an error. Similarly, you can specify the plan limit or the rule and not both.
To enter comments
You can enter opinions, comments and other details if any, in the “Comments” field.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
