Creating a Benefit Group– A summary of the activity

Through this activity, you can create a Benefit Group. A Benefit Group is a logical group of Plans or Plan Types or a combination of both, which has special contribution rates. The plans / plan types in the benefit group have individual limits on the coverage and there is a cumulative limit for a benefit group.

Creating a benefit group involves specifying

• An unique code and short description to identify a benefit group

• The period for which the benefit group is effective

• The currency of the benefit group.

• The maximum amount covered for the benefit group

• The plan types or the plans or combination of both plan types or plans that will constitute a benefit group.

• he maximum amount that can be covered for each plan type or plan.
