View Calculation Rules– A summary of the activity

Through this activity, you can view calculation rules like the salary, age, service months and actual hours based on which the premium and coverage amounts for the plan are computed. You can also view the specified rules for enrollment, amendments and deletion in various plans.

Apart from viewing the rules, you can also view various parameters that will drive the plan. You can view whether the

• Mapping of accounts to a plan is based on grade or grade set,

• Premium for the plan has to be taken as on enrollment or as on processing date,

• System must refer to processed eligibility or not for enrolling in a plan.

You can define these rules for a benefit definitions unit, benefit program, benefit plan type and benefit plan. If the rules have been defined for all the above, the system will display the details from the page it has been launched.  For example, if you have selected the page from the left pane, the system will display the rules defined for the selected benefits definitions unit.  If the page has been selected from the Benefit program page, the system will display the details defined for the selected program.

The system will display the details specified for the corresponding organization unit or benefit object (benefit program / benefit plan type / benefit plan).
