Review Work Execution and Report Actuals – A summary of the activity
In the aviation industry, maintenance or service of the aircraft is a continuous process and plays a crucial role for efficient operation of the aircrafts. Record keeping of the activities involved in such maintenance operations is very important, as well as a statutory requirement. However, there are some tasks in such jobs for which online recording like for example recording of the parts consumed or recording of timesheet of resources involved is not viable. This can be the case is situations where for example the maintenance-related jobs are carried out in remote locations or when transit checks are performed by line technicians between flights and so on. During such situations, the work information is recorded in excel sheets after performance of the tasks and are sent at intervals to the main base.
This activity acts as a single interface, in which the commercial personnel at the main base uploads such information into the system and allows the release of the tasks for execution as well as update the status of the tasks. This can be done for both SWO and AME jobs based on the type of the execution document. The panel in the right of the screen displays links that directs the commercial personnel to the next possible action in sequence as per the document status.
This activity is enabled only for those users who possess the relevant access rights. The options set in the contract enables the control of access to this page.
