Part #

The part that you want to associate with the sequence control #.

The part you specify must be Active and valid as defined in the Part Administration component.

At least one of the tasks that you wish to map to the sequence control # in the “Map Tasks To Seq. Control #” tab must be effective for the part.

Note

Mfr. Part #

The manufacturer part # of the part to which you want to associate the sequence control number.

The type of the manufacturer part must be “Component” or “Expendable”.

Mfr. #

The manufacturer # of the part to which you want to associate the sequence control number.

Note: Both the manufacturer part and the manufacturer that you specify must be Active and a valid combination as defined in the Part Administration component.

Prime Part?

Indicates whether the part is a prime part for other parts.

Part Description

The short name/description of the part.

Created Date

The date on which the mapping for the part and the sequence control # was created.

Created By

The user ID of the employee who created the mapping for the part and sequence control #.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the mapping for the part and the sequence control # was most recently modified.

Last Modified By

The user ID of the employee who most recently modified the mapping for the part and sequence control #.

You can associate multiple parts to sequence control # in the “Map Parts to Sequence Control #” tab. The sequence control # forms the key for the maintenance of the part. It indicates the order of execution of a series of tasks on the part to the shop mechanic.

However, note that a part can be associated with only one sequence control # at any point of time. Only those parts that are components or expendables can be associated with sequence control #.
