Managing Pre-Order Quotation – A summary of the activity
This activity enables the generation of a Pre-Order Quotation document, which can be processed into a Sale Order.
Once a pre-quote is created and confirmed the supervisor is required to release the quote for Customer approval. It can also be returned on the grounds of say corrections to be made in the quote. Then the quotation is released to the customer for customer acceptance.
A Pre-Ordering Quotation can be recorded in this screen against an RFQ document or it can be done without reference to any RFQ using the RFQ based quote or Direct Quote buttons respectively.
In this screen primary quotation information can be entered along with Customer information, Contact Information, Shipment Information, Additional Information and Pricelist Information while creating the Quotation.
There is provision for the user to enter additional Quotation information to the customer. If required TCD information can also be provided. Partial quote value entry is also allowed here.
