Selecting forecast for modification

This page allows you to select the forecast for modification. Tell me more.
Select the "Edit Aircraft Forecast" link under the "Aircraft Maintenance Forecast" business component.
The “Select Forecast” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the forecast number for which the details must be modified:

Forecast # |
The number identifying the forecast that you wish to modify (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Select the “Edit Forecast” link provided alongside to modify the details of the forecast.
To search for forecast
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for an aircraft forecast. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Forecast # |
The number identifying the forecast that you need to modify (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the forecast number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecasts that are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts. |

User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user status of the forecast you wish to modify. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes of the type “User Status” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default. |

End Date From |
The starting date, in the range of end dates till which forecast is valid (Date Format). This date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. |

End Date To |
The ending date, in the range of dates till which forecast is valid (Date Format). This date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that this date is later than or the same as the date entered in the “End Date From” field. |

Sub Fleet # |
The number identifying the sub fleet (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the sub fleet number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves forecasts associated to the sub fleet entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the sub fleets. |

Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the forecasts associated with the aircraft specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts irrespective of the aircraft to which they are mapped. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank to search for all the forecasts, which are in “Fresh” status and to which the login user is mapped.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the forecast details in the multiline.

Click the hyperlinked forecast number in the multiline to edit the details.
Selecting forecast for modification – An overview
In this page, you can select a forecast to modify its details. If you know the forecast number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the forecast number, user status, forecast valid dates and aircraft registration number.
The system retrieves forecasts that are in the “Fresh” status.
