This page allows you to select the forecast for viewing. Tell me more.

The “Select Forecast” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date  & Time Format

The format in which the date fields and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast that you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 40).

To search for a forecast

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast that you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 40) You can enter the forecast number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecasts that are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft for which the forecast was generated (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the forecast associated with the aircraft specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecast irrespective of the aircraft to which they are attached.

Start Date

The starting date of the forecast (Date Format). This date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. The system lists all the forecasts that have been generated later than this date.

End Date

The end date of the forecast (Date Format). This date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that this date is later than or the same as the date entered in the “Start Date” field.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the forecast. The system displays the options “Fresh”, “Released”, “Cancelled” and “Closed”. By default, the system leaves the field blank.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined status of the forecast you wish to view. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes of the type “User Status” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Task #

The number identifying the task to be performed as part of the maintenance program. that you wish to view. You can enter the task number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecasts associated to the task number entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts.

Sub Fleet #

The number identifying the sub fleet (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the sub fleet number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecasts associated to the sub fleet entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts.

Sub Fleet Description

The textual description of the sub fleet (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the sub fleet description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Forecast #

The number identifying the aircraft forecast that you wish to view.

Start Date

The start date of the forecast.

End Date

The end date of the forecast.

Status

The status of the forecast.

User Status

The user defined status of the forecast.

Sub Fleet #

The number identifying the sub fleet.

Sub Fleet Description

The textual description of the sub fleet.

Selecting forecast for viewing – An overview

In this page, you can select a forecast to view its details. If you know the forecast number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the forecast number, reforecast count, effective period, sub fleet, sub fleet description, user status, aircraft registration number and the work unit number.
