Maintenance Change Request - An Overview

The operating assets in the aviation industry are subjected to changes in their original configuration during their life cycle. Besides, their maintenance programs also undergo changes over a period of time. These changes, typically referred to as Engineering Changes are registered as “Maintenance Change Requests” which after due evaluation, is executed through appropriate “Change Orders”. The management of the Change Request repository is facilitated through the “Maintenance Change Request” business component.
