Stock Issue - An Overview

Parts are usually stocked in assigned storage places and are issued from the warehouse against the requesting document to fulfill the requirements like executing a maintenance activity, servicing the part etc. Based on the requesting document the stores personnel issues the relevant parts from the specified warehouses if free stocks are available in the warehouse. On certain occasion when the stock  is  not available  at the required  location the same  can be  arranged from the  other  location  initiating a stock  transfer. Also,when the  goods  need to  be sent  for a  repair  or modification outside the  organization premises the same can be  issued from the  specified  store.

The Stock Issue business component takes care of recording this activity of the stores personnel.
