Retire Discrepancies – A summary of the activity

The “Retire Discrepancies” activity allows you to terminate discrepancies that are not of relevance.

When discrepancies are reported, a maintenance report is created and resolution procedures are identified. However, sometimes, some discrepancies may have been wrongly reported and hence need to be terminated. Once a discrepancy is terminated, it will not be available for use throughout the application.

This activity allows you to select the discrepancy that has to be terminated or retired. You can enter the filter criteria to search for the discrepancy. You can also make use of the user-defined search criteria already recorded in the “Set Advance Search Criteria” page.
