Viewing sub-component information for customer order

This page allows you to view sub-component information for customer order. Tell me more.

Select the “View Sub-component Information” link in the “View Customer Order” page.

The “View Sub-component Information” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Order Details” group box:

Customer Order #	The customer order for which the sub-component information is displayed
Amendment #	The amendment number of the customer order
Status	The status of the customer order

The system displays the following fields in the “Sub-components Details” multiline:

Line #	The line number of the sub-component
Position Code	The position code to which the component is attached
Part #	The part number to which the component belongs
Customer Part #	The customer part number
Part Serial #	The part serial number of the sub-component
Level Code	The level code to which the sub-component is attached
Part Description	The textual description of the part
Job Type	The type of job to be performed on the sub-component. The system displays one of the options: “On-wing” – indicates that the job can be performed when the component is attached to the aircraft “Off-wing” – indicates that the job must be performed when the component is attached to the aircraft
Execution Facility	The execution facility for the sub-component which could be: External – indicates that the maintenance work is executed by the external facility Internal – indicates that the maintenance work is executed by the internal facility

The system displays the following fields when the “Execution Facility” is “Internal”:

Execution Location	Indicates the organizational unit in which the maintenance job will be carried out.
Work Center #	The work center in which the service is performed on the sub-component

The system displays the following fields when the “Execution Facility” is “External”:

RO Location	The organizational unit in which the repair order is executed
Repair Shop	The repair shop in which the repair is carried out

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the sub-component for viewing details.

To proceed, carry out the following:

Select “View Work Unit Information” link to view work units associated with the sub-component.

Select “View Associated Discrepancies” link to view associated discrepancies.

Viewing sub-component information for customer order – An overview

In this page, you can view the details of sub-components for which the maintenance service is applicable. While carrying out the maintenance service work on an aircraft, the sub-components attached to the aircraft might also need service. Those sub-components are already identified in the “Edit Sub-Component Information” page. You can view the sub-component details in this page.
