Process parameter dependency: Any part rule can be based on only one of the four part attributes - Part #, Part Type, Part Classification or Part Classification. Each of the four part attributes are mutually exclusive of each other based on the process parameter definition. The process parameter "Parameter for part based rules identification?" defined under the entity type “Component Maintenance Planning” and the entity “Manage Repair Automation Rules” in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master determines the attribute on which the part rule is based and for which it is mandatory that you provide a value. The below table elaborates on logic by which the part attribute becomes mandatory for the part based rule.
