Manage Repair Automation Rules – A summary of the activity

In this activity, you can set, update and view rules for the automatic generation of execution documents for removed components. You can define repair rules based on specific part attribute or based on part parameters.

For example, you can define part based rule for a part. This implies the rule is applicable for the part only. Similarly, you can create a part based rule for a part type, part classification or part category. A part based rule associated with a part type would be effective only for parts of the specified type. The same holds true for part classification or category.

The primary result of part rule would be to derive /default the movement type for the removed components.
